About · The practice

A practice, not an agency.
A method, not a menu.

Twenty years of senior product leadership — across global tech, travel and aviation — condensed into a small, deliberate consulting practice. Honest calls, made in the room, with the people doing the work.

01 / Origin

Why the practice exists.

Senior product roles at scale teach you which problems are real and which are costume. After two decades leading product for airport, airline and travel-tech platforms — and rationalising a portfolio from 150 products to 40 — I kept hearing the same thing from founders and operators: we don't need more frameworks, we need someone who's actually done this.

So the practice is small on purpose. No junior bench, no template deck, no "transformation methodology." One senior operator, working with teams who want the work done properly, for as long as it needs doing.

02 / Method

How engagements actually run.

01

Listen deeply. Once.

Two to three weeks of honest conversations with the team, the board, and — critically — the customers. No survey. No deck. Just notes.

02

Name the real problem.

A short, plain document that says what's actually wrong and what it will cost to fix. Written to be argued with.

03

Work inside the team.

Embedded fractional or interim, making and defending decisions alongside your people. Not reporting from the sidelines.

04

Leave it better.

Hand over to a permanent hire or a strengthened internal lead. If we did it right, you won't need us again for a while.

03 / Principles

Five things we hold to.

Clarity beats cleverness.

A one-page answer the whole team can recite beats a beautiful deck nobody opens twice.

Momentum is a feature.

Velocity without direction is waste; direction without velocity is theatre. We insist on both.

AI as leverage, not substitute.

Used well, it compresses discovery-to-decision. Used lazily, it produces confident nonsense at scale.

Decisions live in the room.

If a recommendation only survives in a document, it wasn't a recommendation — it was a wish.

Leave with a plan, not a dependency.

Good consulting work ends. We build toward the handover from day one.

04 / Who it's for

The teams we work with best.

B2B software, Seed → Series C

Usually at the inflection point where product-led instinct needs to become product-led organisation.

PE-backed software groups

Post-acquisition, mid-integration, or pre-exit — where product clarity becomes the deciding factor.

Travel & aviation technology

Platforms serving airports, airlines, distribution and sustainability — including teams pursuing the 2050 arc.

Founders & CTOs in transition

Technical founders stepping back from day-to-day product who want cover done well, not offered cheaply.
